Jewellery Care Guide

Our handmade jewellery is designed to last but it is delicate and should be treated as such. The following is a simple guide to help your jewellery live its best (and lengthiest) life.

Storing your jewellery: Many of our pieces are made with real shells and baroque pearls which are delicate in nature. Protect your jewellery by individually storing each piece in a pouch it is shipped with or soft material to help avoid breakage, scratching or tangling. Always pack your jewellery with care.

Protect Your Jewellery:  Protect your treasures by avoiding extreme temperatures, banging/ dropping on hard surfaces, scratches and harsh chemicals to minimize damage or wear. Care should always be taken when wearing delicate, natural materials.

Making your metals last: We recommend removing your jewellery when bathing/ showering in freshwater, remove before frolicking in the ocean and keep them far away from chlorinated water. Avoid spraying perfumes or applying creams directly to the jewellery. Always remove your jewellery before working out or strenuous activity as your perspiration can cause damage.
